Technology is a central part of academic advising at UC, from connecting you with your advisor to planning your path to graduation. Learn more about some of the tools that are designed to enhance your partnership with your advisor.
In My Bearcat Network you can schedule appointments with people in your network, including academic advisors, specialized advisors, instructors, faculty advisors and mentors, and many Student Affairs areas. You can send messages, view shared and personal resources, and review profile and academic history information. You are also able to RSVP to events and view announcements specific to your major or interests.

How to Use My Bearcat Network
The degree audit is an online reporting tool used to track your progress toward degree completion. Your degree audit is available under the "My Academics" tab in Catalyst.
Create My Schedule is a class scheduling tool that allows you and your advisor to generate possible schedules and visually compare course options to find your optimal class schedule. Once you’ve identified your desired courses, you’ll get an overview of all possible section combinations for review and comparison. You can refine potential schedules by blocking out times reserved for activities outside of class and build schedules around specific course meeting times. Create My Schedule is available in Catalyst.
How to Use Create My Schedule
My Graduation Plan is a degree-planning tool that allows you and your advisor to view your degree requirements and use these requirements to plan your pathway to graduation. As you progress through your program, monitor progress and update planning to stay on track. In addition to planning, you can also use My Graduation Plan to document specific educational and career goals, explore new degree options, and view career-related information.
